The Company adheres to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the "ACT")

Privacy Principles of ustudents.com.au in relation to the Ten National Privacy Principles ("NPP")
1. Collection
1.1 The information that ustudents.com.au ("the company") collects is necessary for one or more of its functions.
1.2 The company only requests information through the website.
1.3 (a) the identity of the company and contact details are available through the website
(b) any information given by an individual may be accessed at anytime
(c) the information collected is used to identify individuals using the companies services and for display ad purposes.
(d) the company does not intentionally disclose this information to any other entity except for the purposes of displaying an ad.
(e) a link to the privacy act is available on the website.
(f) The information requested is a requirement to use the sites services.
1.4 The company only requests information from the user when signing up for an account however there may be times such as a competition where further details may be requested.
1.5 When collecting information from an individual, the company sends out an email to verify the information.
Use and Disclosure
2.1 The company will only be using the information collected as outlined in 1.3 (c) and 1.4 unless sections 2.1 (a) - 2.1 (h) of the NPP require it to do so.
2.2 The company has an official document titled "Disclosure of Individuals" if 2.1 (h) of the NPP requires it to do so.
2.3 The company does not collect health information from individuals other than type of sex.
Data Quality
3.1 The company requests information from individuals at the sign up stage to use the websites services. The website has a section that enables individuals to view, edit or delete their information at anytime. The company relies on individuals to update their information if and when any changes take place.
Data Security
4.1 All information given by individuals is controlled by their own password and may only be accessed by the individual in control of the password.
4.2 The company will delete all information no longer needed. The individual has the ability to delete their own information.

Openness
5.1 This Privacy Policy will be displayed at all times on the website

Access and Correction
6.1 The company allows individuals to add, edit or delete their information at anytime. The company will only prevent an individual from doing so if sections 6.1(a) - 6.1(k) of the NPP are applicable.
Identifier
7.1 The Company will not use or disclose an identifier of an individual that has been issued by a third party agency.
Anonymity
8.1 Individuals will only be asked information in the general course of business and as described in section 1.3 (c) and 1.4.
Transborder Data Flows
9.1 The Company is an Australian company and will adhere to section 1.3 (d) regardless of geographical location unless section 9.1 (a) - (f) of the NPP require it to do so.
Sensitive Information
10.1 The Company undertakes not to ask for sensitive information from individuals. The only details required will be Name, Address, Phone, University, Sex, Email.
